This November, the 2026 Eye Level Math Olympiad will welcome students from 15 countries.

ELMO is a global math competition uniting private, international, and public schools from around the world. Students grow through meaningful challenges shared with peers across the globe.

WHO CAN JOIN

ELIGIBILITY	All students in grades 1-8
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS	Participants must be Malaysian citizens or long-term residents of the country they represent. Local and International school students are welcome to participate nationwide.

Payment information	1. Registration payment is non-refundable or transferable in any case upon registration. Payment proof is required to enter the competition venue. 2. Exam schedules are fixed and NO rescheduling is allowed in any case. Kindly block your calendar in advance to avoid any clash of events. 3. You will be directed to Paypal once you have completed the student information/registration details. Kindly use "Payment as Guest" when in Paypal page and proceed with the card payment. 4. You may check your registration status via "My Registration" tab by inserting the registered details. The payment status will appear if you have successfully made the payment. 5. All successful registrations will receive a Confirmation Email with a Registration Slip to the registered email. Kindly check the examination date and time accordingly via Eye Level social media pages.

TRUSTED ASSESSMENT DEVELOPMENT

Daekyo Mathematics & Science R&D Team

The ELMO assessment is developed by Daekyo Headquarters’ Mathematics & Science R&D Team, with expertise in mathematics education, curriculum design, and Ministry-approved textbook development in Korea.

External Academic Panel

University mathematics professors and high school teachers participate in the development and review of ELMO test items to help ensure a valid, fair, and credible assessment process.

ASSESSMENT SCOPE

Students will be assessed on various aspects of mathematical ability, including arithmetic, comprehension, and problem-solving skills appropriate for each grade level.

: - SECTION 1 : evaluates overall mathematical knowledge and arithmetic skills.; - SECTION 2 : assesses the ability to understand and formulate word problems.; - SECTION 3 : measures problem-solving proficiency across key areas.

Students will be given 50 minutes to complete a 40-question test.

- SECTION 1 : 20 multiple-choice questions (1.5 points each, 30%)

- SECTION 2 : 10 short-answer questions (3.0 points each, 30%)

- SECTION 3 : 10 mixed-format questions — multiple-choice and short-answer

(Points per vary by difficulty, 40%)

Winners for each grade level will be selected based on their total scores per grade.
