    All participants will be awarded medals in commemoration of their participation in the Olympiad - Participant medals are provided only in countries where the event is held offline.

    All Participants will receive a participation certificate - it is available for online download.

Contest information:  ELIGIBILITY: Open to Eye Level members and non-members in grade 2-9 worldwide. The Eye Level Math Olympiad (ELMO) is an exciting annual math contest that started in 2004, attracting over 60,000 students from 16 countries. It challenges participants' skills across various areas, including arithmetic, geometry, measurement, data analysis, reasoning, and problem-solving. ELMO is open to all students aged 7 to 14 years old. The competition aims to enhance and promote mathematical abilities on a global scale, encouraging a love for math and fostering critical thinking skills among young learners. Register your child in their current grade. Test papers will be one grade lower than the current school grade.

1. Registration payments are non-refundable and non-transferable in any case upon registration. Please block your calendar in advance to avoid any clash of events. 2. Once you have completed the student details, you will be directed to PayPal. Kindly select "Payment as Guest" in PayPal and proceed with the payment. If you are unable to make the payment through PayPal, please contact us for alternative payment methods. 3. You can check your registration status via the "My Registration" tab by entering the registered details. 4. All successful registrations will receive a Confirmation Email with a Registration Slip.

After the announcement of the results, winners will be posted on the website and contacted individually with further information.

WHAT IS TESTED?

Test takers will solve a variety of questions in multiple areas* such as, but not limited to, arithmetic, patterns, spatial sense, measurement, problem-solving strategies, reasoning, etc. (*Specific areas may vary by grade.)

- SECTION 1 : tests overall basic mathematical knowledge and arithmetic skills
- SECTION 2 : tests competency in formulating word problems
- SECTION 3 : tests problem-solving proficiency in a variety of areas

Students will be given 50 minutes to complete a 50-question test.

- SECTION 1 : 30 multiple-choice questions (1.5 points per question, 45%)
- SECTION 2 : 10 short-answer questions (2.0 points per question, 20%)
- SECTION 3 : Mixture of 10 questions in multiple-choice & short-answer formats

(Points per question vary by level of difficulty, 35%)
